The AMI (Audio Measurement Interface) is the precision tool of choice for analyzing both electrical and acoustic signals - and the ideal companion for anyone who demands maximum accuracy and seamless integration within DSP-based audio systems. Designed as a compact yet versatile interface, it provides all essential functions required for precise signal evaluation, system tuning, and optimization - fully tailored to the capabilities of our DSP PC-Tool software.
Flexible signal access for every scenario
The AMI features a microphone input compatible with all condenser microphones, including adjustable gain and switchable phantom power - ideal for professional acoustic measurement. A dedicated line input with switchable sensitivity (max. 1 V or 40 V) ensures accurate analysis of both low- and highlevel signals. Stereo signal output is available via RCA or optical digital connection for direct playback into a DSP. The integrated loopback function opens up advanced measurement options, such as precise phase response and more complex signal path evaluations.

Developed for full compatibility with the Audiotec Fischer DSP PC-Tool, the AMI becomes a powerful measurement device that unlocks the full potential of our software's tuning features. This includes the Advanced Input Signal Analyzer (AISA) for the detection and correction of factory-applied EQ curves, time alignment and allpass filters, as well as Real-Time Analyzer (RTA) support for precise frequency response measurements and automated tuning via our proprietary TuneEQ algorithm. The AMI also supports Automatic Time Measurement (ATM) for fully automated speaker delay calibration - delivering perfect timing and imaging across all channels.

The AMI operates via USB and requires no external power supply, ensuring maximum mobility and ease of use. The scope of delivery includes a premium 3 m / 9.85' USB-C cable with USB-A adaptor, an RCA-to-Highlevel signal connector, and a 16 GB USB 3.0 flash drive with preinstalled DSP tuning tracks. Fully compatible with Windows 10 & 11, macOS, Android, and iOS, and supporting ASIO drivers for professional audio applications, the AMI is a plug-and-play solution designed for accurate results - wherever your setup takes you.
