HELIX CFMK200 POR.1 (FDM)

FlexMount is our proprietary mounting system, based on specially developed adaptor rings.
These turn your universal 8" / 200 mm HELIX COMPOSE woofer with FlexMount200 technology into a car-specific speaker, allowing an easy and acoustically optimized installation in the original mounting position of the vehicle.

The adaptors are manufactured in-house using state-of-the-art FDM 3D printing process. The special material used is perfectly adapted to automotive applications and is characterized in particular by its extremely high strength and rigidity. Due to the special material properties, our FlexMount adaptors are extremely resistant to weathering, UV radiation, oils and greases. In addition, it covers the extremely wide automotive temperature range from -40° C to over + 90° C, which guarantees durability and dimensional stability even under the most difficult conditions.

Born out of the increasingly demanding challenges of modern automobile technology and the HELIX-typical pursuit of intelligent solutions, we made the progressive redesign of proven universal speaker systems our mission. The HELIX COMPOSE i5 series is the link between i7 and i3, created for sophisticated music lovers with a sparked ambition for a true hi-fi experience. A lovechild of phenomenal sound and unmatched practicality: Developed with the vision of unique speaker highlights that are also true problem solvers. All speaker impedances are perfectly matched for the combination with our HELIX and MATCH amplifiers, guaranteeing maximum performance at any time. In addition, we implemented our COMPOSE-exclusive mechanical technologies that offer unbeatable practical benefits. 

Mid-woofer driver and subwoofer in one - the best of both worlds 

The Ci5 S200FM, as a 200 mm hybrid speaker, strikes the perfect balance between a mid-woofer driver and a subwoofer, impressing with its exceptionally high excursion, power handling and output volume. With its linear excursion of +/- 7.8 mm (D2: +/- 7.5 mm), it consistently delivers controlled and clear low-frequency reproduction, even at high sound pressure levels and low frequencies. The aim was to develop a speaker that works perfectly in BMW under-seat and Mercedes bulkhead applications without any compromises despite the extremely low installation depth of 47 mm. Thanks to the FlexMount200 technology, the Ci5 S200FM can be integrated comfortably and its design opens up completely new integration possibilities.

High-tech polymer basket

All HELIX COMPOSE i7, i5 and i3 speaker baskets are made of a high-tech polymer composite, which has been additionally reinforced with glass spheres. The result: maximum stability with minimal self-resonance, while also eliminating flux modulation of the magnetic system and maximum resistance to thermal influences. Last but not least, this allows for much more compact basket dimensions and thus simplified installations in cramped installation conditions.

Flexible connection - 2 x 2 or 1 x 2 Ohms

The chassis are available as 1 x 2 Ohms (S2) or 2 x 2 Ohms (D2) version. Thus, these woofers always offers the right solution for every amplifier configuration to get the maximum performance out of it - whether mono, 2-channel or even multi-channel amplifier.
